“At my high school, I participated in a variety of clubs, such as Student Forum and Mu Alpha Theta, and I also held positions in NHS and Model UN. Since I’ve come to Elizabethtown, I’ve joined Faith in Action (a Christian volunteer group), become a representative of my First Year Seminar group in the Honors Council, and started learning a form of karate. As for hobbies, I love to read and play piano. The Stamps Scholarship has opened up many new opportunities for me. Not only am I traveling to the National Collegiate Honors Council Conference in Phoenix this year, but I also plan on using the endowment fund to travel to Germany for a semester. I am planning to work hard towards my education and to expand my knowledge of the world so that one day I can become a global citizen and help connect others together to make the world a better place.”
